Eurovision 2022: il testo di “Eat your salad” dei Citi Zēni (Lettonia)
La Lettonia torna a riporre le proprie speranze eurovisive in una band (dopo i Carousel nel 2019): saranno i Citi Zēni a rappresentare il paese all’Eurovision Song Contest 2022 con “Eat your salad”, brano dal testo “green”.
La canzone infatti è un inno ad uno stile di vita sostenibile: si citano la dieta vegana (come intuibile dal titolo) e la mobilità alternativa (l’uso della bicicletta al posto dell’auto) tra le altre cose.
Secondo la band questo approccio non solo è rispettoso dell’ambiente ma anche sexy, ci sono infatti piccanti doppi sensi, con tanto di due parole censurate rispetto alla versione studio (“pussy”, slang inglese per indicare l’organo genitale femminile e “fuck”, termine volgare per dire “fare sesso”) per rientrare nei regolamenti dell’Eurovision Song Contest.
