Eurovision 2024: il testo di “Sand” di Saba (Danimarca)

Saba, all’anagrafe Anna Saba Lykke Oehlenschlæger, sarà la prima donna di colore rappresentante della Danimarca all’Eurovision Song Contest. Lo farà con “Sand”, singolo che ha sancito il suo debutto nel panorama musicale danese e che le è valso la vittoria della 54° edizione del Dansk Melodi Grand Prix a febbraio.

Di origini etiopi – è stata adottata assieme alla sorella gemella da una famiglia di Ringkøbing – Saba si è avvicinata al mondo della musica casualmente, sostituendo la sorella, anche lei cantante, in un musical. A firmare il suo brano eurovisivo c’è invece una veterana dell’ambiente eurovisivo, Melanie Wehbe, già autrice del brano danese all’Eurovision 2019.
