Eurovision 2024: il testo di “Liar” di Silia Kapsis (Cipro)

Solo diciassette anni, ma energia da vendere: stiamo parlando di Silia Kapsis, che rappresenterà Cipro all’Eurovision 2024 con il brano “Liar“.

Nata e cresciuta a Sidney da famiglia greco-cipriota, Silia Kapsis è la stella emergente del pop australiano, lanciatissima dopo le recenti apparizioni in diversi show televisivi australiani e come presentatrice delle news per la filiale australiana di Nickelodeon, la tv dell’intrattenimento di proprietà del colosso americano Paramount.

La cantante ha partecipato a numerosi eventi mondiali di grande rilievo, oltre ad essere stata cantante principale della Australian Youth Performing Arts Company (AYPAC). La passione per la musica l’ha portata, fin da piccolissima, a comporre il brano “Who Am I?“, rilasciato poi solo nel 2022 come singolo di debutto. A questo, sono seguiti altre canzoni, tra cui “Disco Dancer“, un altro successo.

“Liar” è una proposta fresca e contemporanea, con un testo che parla d’amore, e che propone di far ballare l’intero pubblico dell’Eurovision 2024.
