Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Bur man laimi” delle Tautumeitas (Lettonia)
La Lettonia all’Eurovision 2025 canterà per la prima volta dal 2004 interamente in lettone, merito del gruppo vocale Tautumeitas che ha vinto il Supernova con il brano “Bur man laimi” (“Un canto per la gioia”).
Con quattro album all’attivo, il gruppo nasce nel 2015 con l’intento di rivisitare i canti della tradizione baltica in chiave moderna, spesso esibendosi con abiti tipici della tradizione. Dopo la vittoria, il gruppo si è issato tra le posizioni medio alte delle classifiche in Lettonia, ottenendo riscontri favorevoli.
La Lettonia si esibirà all’Eurovision 2025 a Basilea nella seconda semifinale, il 15 maggio. Non si potranno votare dall’Italia, ma comunque si potrà fare il tifo la stessa sera su Rai 2 con il commento di Gabriele Corsi e Big Mama.
