Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Hallucination” di Sissal (Danimarca)

La Danimarca scegliere per la seconda volta una artista originaria delle Isole Far Øer: sul palco dell’Eurovision 2025 di Basilea salirà infatti Sissal, al secolo Jóhanna Norðberg Niclasen. La cantante trentenne ha vinto l’ultima edizione del Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, tradizionale format con cui la Danimarca individua il proprio rappresentante per il palco europeo.

Nata nella capitale faroese Torshavn, ma residente a Copenaghen dal 2020, Sissal ha pubblicato solo nel 2024 il primo EP dal titolo “Hear Me Now”. Nonostante questo, l’artista è attiva da diverso tempo nel mondo della musica, partecipando a festival, doppiando un personaggio di un film Disney, ed esibendosi per il re della Danimarca. Tra le sue ispirazioni musicali principali ci sono anche la svedese Robyn e la norvegese Dagny, le cui sonorità riecheggiano in “Hallucination“.
