Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Laika party” di Emmy (Irlanda)

L’Irlanda per l’Eurovision 2025 punta su una giovane artista proveniente dalla Norvegia. Sarà infatti Emmy (all’anagrafe Emmy Kristine Guttulsrud Kristiansen) con “Laika party” a rappresentare il paese a Basilea. Emmy si è guadagnata il ticket per l’Eurovision Song Contest vincendo il finale nazionale Eurosong 2025, a cui ha preso parte dopo che, in patria, il brano era stato scartato dal Melodi Grand Prix.

Emmy aveva preso parte al Melodi Grand Prix nel 2021, arrivando in finale con “Witch woods”, e nel 2024 come autrice per Mathilde SPZ feat. Chris Archer & Slam Dunk. Più recentemente si è affermata anche fuori dai confini norvegesi grazie a Tik Tok. “Laika party” è ispirata alla storia della cagnetta Laika, il primo essere vivente mandato nello spazio nel 1957 a bordo dello Sputnik 2. È firmata, oltre che da Emmy e da 3 autori norvegesi, anche dall’irlandese Larissa Tormey.
