Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Poison Cake” di Marko Bosnjak (Croazia)

Sarà Marko Bosnjak con “Poison Cake” a rappresentare la Croazia all’Eurovision 2025 dopo la vittoria al Dora 2025: una vittoria non del tutto inaspettata dato che l’artista aveva già ottenuto un secondo posto alla stessa manifestazione tre anni prima. Si esibirà durante la prima semifinale in diretta su Rai 2 il martedì 13 maggio quando l’Italia avrà il diritto di voto.

“Poison Cake” è un brano pop dalle tinte un po’ dark che ricorda molto le canzoni di Billie Eilish. Un cambiamento abbastanza netto rispetto al singolo che aveva presentato al Dora nel 2022, “Moli za nas” , un brano più intimistico e misticheggiante, lontano dalle sonorità tipicamente pop. Il testo di “Poison Cake” tratta il tema della vendetta e della difesa di se stessi.
