Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Run with u” dei Mamagama (Azerbaigian)

L’Azerbaigian sarà rappresentato all’Eurovision 2025 di Basilea (Svizzera) da una delle band più importanti ed interessanti del paese: i Mamagama. Il gruppo – che unisce world, indie ed elettronica – è formato da Asaf Mishiyev, Hasan Heydar e Arif Imanov, i quali hanno iniziato a fare musica insieme nel 2021 e rapidamente si sono affermati nel panorama musicale azero.

Già vicini alla partecipazione all’Eurovision Song Contest 2023, quando entrarono nella shortlist finale dell’emittente Ictimai TV con il brano “Change the rhythm”, sono stati selezionati infine per questa edizione. Porteranno in gara “Run with u”, un brano che era stato inizialmente scritto in lingua azera da Asef Mishiyev nel 2009, per poi essere tradotto in inglese e riarrangiato per la rassegna continentale.

Nel videoclip del brano compaiono gli ultimi due rappresentanti del paese all’Eurovision Song Contest: il duo TuralTuranX (2023) e Fahree con İlkin Dövlətov (2024).
