Eurovision 2025: il testo di “Shh” di Theo Evan (Cipro)

A rappresentare Cipro all’Eurovision 2025 è Theo Evan, selezionato internamente dalla televisione cipriota, la CyBC.

Laureatosi alla scuola inglese di Nicosia, si è trasferito negli USA, dove ha studiato al Berklee College of Music di Boston. Tornato da ospite speciale in tre occasioni, ha una carriera attiva dal 2021. Dopo la canzone in gara ha rilasciato anche “Diafanis”, duetto con la superstar greca Demy, in gara proprio per la Grecia nel 2017.

Classe 2006, per un caso particolare Theo Evan è il primo portacolori del Paese dal 2017 a essere effettivamente nato a Cipro, in questo caso a Nicosia, la capitale. Nelle sue parole, l’influenza artistica arriva da un po’ ovunque: Stromae, Michael Jackson, il reggaeton.
