Eurovision 2026: il testo di “Bella” di Aidan (Malta)

Il rappresentante di Malta all’Eurovision Song Contest 2026 è Aidan, il cui nome completo è Aidan Cassar (Zejtun 17.12.1999), che si è guadagnato il ticket per Vienna vincendo il Malta Eurovision Song Contest con il brano “Bella”.

Ha più volte tentato di rappresentare il proprio paese sul palco più importante d’Europa, fin da piccolo, quando nel 2015 prese parte – senza successo – alle selezioni per lo Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Tre anni dopo debuttò nella selezione nazionale dei grandi, il Malta Eurovision Song Contest, arrivando quarto con “Dai laga”.

Dopo una parentesi meno fortunata ad X-Factor Malta nel 2019, tornò al Malta Eurovision Song Contest nel 2022 arrivando secondo con “Ritmu“, diventata poi una hit in patria. L’anno successivo, pur partendo con i favori del pronostico, venne squalificato dal concorso per l’uso di campagne di sponsorizzazione non approvate dall’emittente PBS. Quest’anno, al quarto tentativo, finalmente ha staccato il biglietto per l’Eurovision Song Contest.
